What we do
We tag sustainability and ESG reports against the digital taxonomies that regulators require or are moving toward — the ESRS XBRL taxonomy for EU CSRD reporting, ISSB-aligned iXBRL for jurisdictions that have adopted IFRS S1 and S2, and other regional formats as they emerge. Our focus is specifically the technical tagging and mapping work, done accurately and reviewed before delivery — not the underlying sustainability strategy, data collection, or assurance work itself, which we leave to your own sustainability, finance, and audit teams.
What we're not
- We are not EFRAG, ESMA, the European Commission, the IFRS Foundation, the ISSB, or any national regulator — we don't set these standards, we implement them.
- We are not an audit or assurance provider, and nothing we produce constitutes assurance over your sustainability data.
- We are not a law firm or compliance consultancy — we don't advise on whether your company is in scope for a given framework, only on how to tag the data once you know what needs reporting.
Why we exist
Financial XBRL tagging is a mature, well-understood service category. ESG and sustainability tagging is much newer, spans multiple evolving frameworks, and the regulatory ground keeps shifting — scope changes, delayed mandates, revised taxonomies. We built this service specifically to track that complexity closely and translate it into accurate tagging, rather than treating ESG tagging as a minor extension of financial tagging work.
How we stay current
We monitor EFRAG, ESMA, the European Commission, the IFRS Foundation, and national regulators' publications directly, and we update our guides when the underlying regulatory status changes — including flagging clearly, as we do throughout this site, when a requirement isn't actually confirmed yet, rather than presenting proposed rules as settled fact.
